Amazon buries the review button. A customer who wants to review your product has to find the order, scroll past the fold, and locate "Write a customer review" among a dozen other actions, and every extra step loses people. The direct review link skips all of it: it opens Amazon's review form for your exact product, stars ready to tap. The format is public and stable, /review/create-review?asin=YOURASIN, and this tool assembles it from any product URL you paste, for all 15 Amazon marketplaces.
How to use the Amazon review link
- Post-purchase email. Paste the HTML button into your follow-up email a week or two after delivery, the timing rules from our best-time-to-ask guide apply to Amazon exactly as they do to Shopify.
- Package inserts. Print the link (or a QR code pointing to it) on a thank-you card. Keep the wording neutral: "scan to review your purchase", with no reward attached.
- Warranty and support flows. After a solved support ticket is a natural, compliant moment to ask for an honest review.
The compliance line: asking is fine, paying is not
Amazon's Community Guidelines draw a clear line. You may ask any customer for a review and send them this link. You may not offer discounts, refunds or gifts in exchange, ask only customers you expect to be positive, or have friends and family review your products. Those practices get reviews deleted, listings suppressed and, since the FTC rule of 2024, can cost up to 51,744 dollars per fake review in the US. What is an Amazon review link?

Every product's link is built from its ASIN, the 10-character code in the product URL, and this generator extracts it and assembles the link for any Amazon marketplace.
What is an ASIN and where do I find it?
The ASIN (Amazon Standard Identification Number) is a 10-character code that identifies a product on Amazon, for example B0EXAMPLE1. You find it in the product URL right after /dp/, or in the Product Information section of the listing. Paste either the full URL or the bare ASIN above; the generator extracts and validates it automatically.
Is it allowed to send customers an Amazon review link?
Yes. Asking a customer to review a product they bought is allowed and normal. What Amazon's Community Guidelines prohibit is compensating or incentivizing reviews (discounts, refunds, free products in exchange), asking only customers you expect to be positive, and reviewing your own or competitors' products. Ask everyone, offer nothing in exchange, and the link is compliant.
Does the review link work if the customer bought on a different marketplace?
No, and this is the most common mistake: a customer who bought on amazon.fr cannot leave a review through an amazon.com link. Generate one link per marketplace you sell on (the tool auto-detects the marketplace from the URL you paste) and route each customer to the marketplace of their order.
Why can some customers not leave a review?
Amazon requires the account to have spent at least 50 dollars (or local equivalent) on the marketplace in the past 12 months with a valid payment method, and heavily filters reviews from brand-new accounts. There is also a per-week limit for non-verified reviews. If a customer reports the form rejecting them, one of these limits is almost always the cause, not your link.
